“Anastasia” Inspired Jewelry Set

I had made a quick TikTok video introducing my latest jewelry set, so I think it’s only right to add it here:

As the video mentions, my first inspired jewelry set is on Anastasia (both the 1997 animated film and Broadway musical). More specifically, the color scheme is based on Anastasia’s music box.

I’ve seen many renditions of the music box that plays “Once Upon a December.” The more typical rendition has a blue base with gold and red accents, but some contain a dark green base. I wanted to pay homage to both so I chose a blue mosaic bead that sometimes reflects a green tint.

The gold and red accents are represented by the gold wiring and red Silverite beads. I wanted to include red because the color not only adorns the music box, but it is at the center of Anastasia’s necklace that acts as the music box’s key.

A gold sphere hangs in between the music box-inspired beads. This represents Anastasia’s royalty and her iconic gold ball gown. I also made sure it hangs right outside of the open earring hoop (open hoop = gap). Due to Anastasia’s amnesia, there is a gap in her memory about her past and she is right on the brink of remembering.

Lastly, Anastasia’s only clue to her past is Paris. It’s in Paris where she finally remembers who she is and is reunited with her grandmother. So another reason I chose my beads was to subtly represent Paris by using the colors of France’s flag. The mosaic bead’s main colors are blue & white and together with the red bead, the design contains France’s colors.

These earrings are one of my favorite pieces to wear since it adds an amazing pop of color to so many of my outfits. I decided to add a ring using the same beads as the earrings so that I could have a beautiful and cohesive set. I seriously wear these all the time and I’m in love.

The ring is simple and dainty while still adding the same pop of color that the earrings do. I created two different styles while I was messing around with the design, and I decided to add both to the collection! The video shows these two styles: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal ring is definitely a more classic look, but if you’re looking to spice things up then the vertical is just for you!

This is just the beginning for my Inspired jewelry sets, and I think this Anastasia set does a great job at demonstrating how I intend to keep the main theme in each piece!
