Handmade jewelry packaging with QR code

I love my jewelry on its own, but I think the handmade packaging is what really ties everything together.

I make each jewelry box individually. I start by cutting out a petal envelope from cardstock and then use some fun scissors to cut out a holder for the earrings/rings. I also make sure to include a short message on the paper holder that says “Love, Dre.” Every piece I make is genuinely made with love so I wanted to add a reminder in every package.

After the earrings are packed in the envelope, I wrap the envelope in twine to elevate the look. This is my favorite part! I also add a logo sticker to the twine to hold it in place and add a pop of color.

Now, this is the coolest part: for every order from my Inspired Collection, I have created a QR code that I add to the packaging. Each code links to a song that is associated with the inspiration. For example: for the La La Land earrings, the song added in the QR code is “Mia and Sebastian’s Theme.” I thought this was the perfect way to bring my pieces to life when they are being opened. The music in these musicals/movies is so vital to the story, and I felt that a part of that magic deserved to be included in every order.

Additionally, I always add a thank you note! Sometimes I even like to include a relevant picture onto the note. Either way, I believe that adding a note is important since each order means so much to me. Without getting these orders, I wouldn’t be able to keep my hobby alive. I truly love making my pieces and appreciate the support. Thank you thank you thank you!
